I Had a Website: The Practices of Archive Team and the Internet Archive in Archiving GeoCities
To research these topics, I first reviewed current research and literature surrounding GeoCities, Archive Team, and the Internet Archive. I also conducted close readings of Archive Team founder Jason Scott's blog “ASCII By Jason Scott,” previous versions of Archive Team's wiki, previous versions of Internet Archive pages and reports captured on its Wayback Machine, and news reports about the Internet Archive and GeoCities.
